Dr. Michelle Merza

Michelle Merza is a 2001 graduate of North Carolina State University. Michelle spent her first several years after graduation in internships in Long Island and New Jersey, honing her skills in general medicine and in surgery. Her professional time in Connecticut has been at Cheshire Veterinary Hospital, and since 2006 at the CT Valley Veterinary Associates/Pieper Memorial. Her most recent work has been for referral surgery and consultation at Pieper Memorial. Michelle and her family – husband Steve, son Erik, and daughter Sarah, along with 3 dogs and a cat – live in Wolcott. Michelle joined our staff in 2012, and purchased the clinic in July of 2014 as Dr. Miller prepared to retire.
